Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where along with three fellow students, he founded his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive performance. The musician always had an interest in music but was enthused to be an attorney or a physical therapy. He was employed in the local bakery for a few hours to support his family financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. The group was then forced to break up due to the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. They performed tracks such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the potential winners to win the award. However, they finished third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell nevertheless paid two million dollars for One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
