Her parents are Harvey Welker and Julie Welker. Harvey Welker was a Native American. Julie Welker was an African American. Her mother is an agent in real estate while her father holds a degree in engineering. Her graduation from Germantown Friends School in the city of Germantown in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood, in 1994. In 1998, Walker earned a bachelor's of arts degree from Harvard College. Welker is since the age of 20 with John Hughes who is a famous marketing director at Merck Philadelphia. They are parents to two children. They began an affair in 2014 when they began to date. John was her husband, and is four years older than her. The relationship was enjoying itself which is why they chose to keep their friendship going. They got married on March 4, 2017. Philadelphia Pennsylvania was the location of the wedding. Their wedding reception was at the Hyatt. A small group of close relatives and friends were also invited.
